As a homeopath regulated under the Regulated Health Professionals Act there are three specific aspects to the regulations, basically what I am allowed to do.  There are many, many aspects of what I cannot do but here are the three that I can do; 1) Use homeopathic medicine, 2) Use herbs, 3) Pray for people.

Now to some that might seem strange that as a homeopath I can pray for people but for me it is very natural to pray for people.  I absolutely believe in the power of prayer! I also absolutely believe in the power of healing prayer.  I have seen it happen in my own health and in others that I have prayed for.  Does every one get healed, no, but then again does everyone who goes to the doctor get healed?  I don’t need to answer that question; you know the answer to that. The fact is many people put their ‘FAITH” in doctors and if someone dies under their care, oh well, and I am not in any way comparing doctors to God, I am just trying to stress a point.  I don’t have an answer as to why God heals some and not others.

One of the things I love about prayer is that prayer works even if you, the person receiving the prayer doesn’t believe in Jesus.  Again, I have witnessed this in my life when I have prayed for people.

So why am I writing this?  My business name is Choices for Health and Harmony.  Health and harmony only comes when you put your physical body, your emotional body and spiritual body in balance, we are a mind, body and spirit/soul.  I have seen it in my practice that people put this great effort into their physical body and sometimes that is needed but their emotions are so up and down that the emotional aspect greatly affect their physical body and don’t kid yourself it does, that they will never achieve good health in their body.  As well I have seen when someone actually gets to the root of their emotional issues, their body miraculously gets healed.  Literally blood work changes for the positive when people release their emotional issues.

I will be totally honest and tell you that I have heard over and over again how people have been hurt by “Christians” and thus have turned away from their spiritual journey and trust in God/Jesus/Holy Spirit.  I will agree and say I have been hurt by some people who call themselves Christians but I have also been given  misinformation and treated badly by sales clerks, lawyers, doctors, government representatives, family members and the list goes on and on.  There are good and bad people in all walks of life, that is just fact, people are people.  Should Christians know better, yes but like everyone they are a work in progress, just like you.

So for those heart issues and in this sentence I don’t mean physical heart issues but issues of the heart that cause grief, pain, hurt, anger etc etc, prayer is the answer.  Forgiveness is the answer.  Prayer is what helps in these cases.

Don’t let pride stand in your way, ask someone to pray for you.  I would be happy to pray for you.
